Our client is in a historic building and is the first tap table bar Milwaukee, located downtown. Pourman’s features a wide selection of drinks, imported cigars to smoke in their outdoor lounge, and talented local musicians who perform live music during special events.

THE PROBLEM:

Pourman’s lost access to their past domain and website which dropped their search ranking and conversions from local searches to the business and area.

THE GOAL:

Our objective was to build a website to regain the lost rankings and traffic optimize the site for local search terms while building a page that displays valuable information to users.

Local Search Optimization

Even though our client’s site when down because the domain was taken, prior to that, the original site was a one-pager and was built over seven years ago. It wasn’t optimized for mobile devices, and our client needed a mobile enhanced web presence since most of the traffic came from phones. It didn’t feature any call to actions or menus; the old site only had a summary and general information about the business address and hours. We created an online drinks and specials menu, links to social accounts, and information about upcoming events to give the site more purpose.

The Results

Within a short time frame, we were able to generate organic traffic to our client’s new domain. Their website has continued to grow in conversion rates and visibility in the search results. Here are some of the stats we took note of over the past few months:
